Happy Valentine’s Day: Clients We Love!

We’re taking some time today to show our appreciation for some of our favorite projects and clients. We love when someone brings us a project that allows us to try something new, push the envelope, and hone our skills through visual note-taking.

A sketch and the final book from Linda Ginzel's leadership manual

Building Your Leadership Capital by Linda Ginzel at Chicago Booth School of Business
“Leadership is hard!”

When our favorite lady at the University of Chicago, Linda Ginzel, approached us about illustrating her upcoming workbook, we had to say yes. Building your Leadership Capital is a companion to Linda’s class at the Booth School of Business. We worked closely with Linda to understand the key messages of her book, condensing them down into over 30 illustrations. The final product looks great, and we’re honored that our drawings will be helping build a class of leaders.

An Illuminated LED Trade Show Booth for Maestro Health

The team at Maestro Health knows how to push the creative limits of an event. For the HR Tech conference in 2016, they tapped us to help create a huge illuminated trade show booth. That’s right – over 15 plexiglass panels, overlaid with Maestro’s signature yellow, were assembled and illuminated with ultra-thin LED lighting. We then illustrated Maestro’s product offerings and conference attendee survey answers on the plexiglass. Maestro’s booth was a beacon on the trade show floor at HR Tech – and a spectacle attendees were sure to remember. Check out the full project here.

The Next Generation of Leaders Animated Video for West Monroe Partners

Animated video for West Monroe Partners
Building the Next Generation of Leaders at West Monroe Partners, an animation created by Ink Factory

We loved working on this video for West Monroe Partners explaining what leadership is all about at their organization. They didn’t shy away from playful and colorful imagery, and creative tie-ins to their logo, like pinecone seeds, stars in the sky, and a compass dial pointing their employees in “the right direction” (west!). Now all the new hires at West Monroe get a sweet and fun introduction to the leadership culture at West Monroe Partners. Check out the full project here.
