Girls in the Game
Girls in the Game provides sports, health and leadership programs in partnership with schools, parks and community centers in Chicago. Participants can try a variety of sports like soccer, lacrosse, yoga or volleyball in a friendly, non-competitive environment while also learning about important health and leadership topics like self-advocacy and positive body image. Good Kids Mad City
GKMC-E’s goal is to bring young community members together to build unity, nurture healing, and create a thriving community. Throughout the process, GKMC-E will collect data that will document real change and growth in the fight against violence in the Englewood community. In addition, GKMC-E will shift and frame the narrative on urban violence by amplifying the voices of those directly impacted. Support here.
Irving Park Food Pantry
The Irving Park Community Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping alleviate food insecurity on the Northwest side of Chicago. The purpose of the IPCFP is to provide hunger relief services, hunger education and awareness and advocacy to influence anti-hunger policy. Lincoln Park Community Services
LPCS serves adult individuals ages 18 and up from all across Chicago who are at-risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. LPCS serve people of all backgrounds regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race or ethnicity. Volunteer or donate here.
Melanated Midwives
Melanated Midwives envisions a more diversified midwifery profession. Their mission is to provide care to the most vulnerable populations, and assist in decreasing the infant and maternal mortality rates in the U.S., which have more than doubled over the past several years compared to other affluent countries. Musical Arts Institute
The Musical Arts Institute is dedicated to providing the best music education to Chicago’s youth. Musical Arts Institute is awarded one of the top non profits in the country, based on community service and financial responsibility. Palestine Children’s Relief Fund
Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), founded in 1991 by concerned humanitarians in the USA, provides free medical care to thousands of injured and ill children yearly who lack local access to care within the local health care system.
