Hand-Drawn Videos

why hand-drawn videos?

Videos inspired by visual notes

Our hand-drawn (visual note-style) videos are animated or live-drawn stories that explain an idea, product, or mission in a way that’s easy to follow and remember.

Ink Factory provides custom video production for organizations that need to explain a complex process, launch a product, or tell their story in a format built for sharing.

HOW IT WORKS

Our Video PROCESS

01
Script & voiceover
BYOV (Bring your own voiceover) or collaborate with us to craft the script, then we'll record it with a professional voice artist who matches your brand's tone.

02
Map the story
Our artist transforms your script into a storyboard that shows how each scene will unfold. We'll also share a style sample so you can see exactly how the final video will look and feel before we start animating.

03
Bring your story to life
Once you approve the storyboard, we create the final artwork and animate it—combining hand-drawn visuals with motion to tell your story in a way that sticks.

What clients are saying

"Ink Factory met and exceeded our expectations. We had a tight deadline, shifting work streams, and a high-pressure, live white board presentation in front of 3,000 people, and Ink Factory delivered big time. The drawing, the resulting video, and even the PDF have turned into very productive assets for us. We couldn't be happier with the final result."

Doug Anderson, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Adobe

"We worked with Ink Factory to create an illustration and video about a complex issue, with medical information and lots of different points to try and cover in one document. To say they exceeded our expectations is an understatement. We are so happy with their work and hope to be able to work with them again soon."

Stephanie Atella, Illinois Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics

"We had unanimously positive feedback. Partners and clients asked us to share it with their teams and they want to use it in their training activities to help others understand Servigistics better. The video is a fantastic visual framework to simplify complex technologies and business strategies. Two thumbs up!!

Bradley Rhoton, PTC Servigistics Business Unit

“We’re very pleased with the final product. It’s made a big difference in how we communicate our purpose to our folks and does so in a meaningful way. It was a tight turnaround, and Ink Factory was fantastic to work with.”

Who Uses Our videos?

Because our videos are drawn in the same style as our visual notes, they’re especially good at showing how ideas connect—making them a natural fit for explaining complexity.

Marketing Teams

Complex value propositions are hard to explain and even harder to make memorable. Hand-drawn video breaks down what makes your product or service different, while giving your brand a distinct look that no stock animation or template can replicate.

What you get: A scroll-stopping asset that clarifies your value proposition and makes your brand impossible to confuse with anyone else’s

Nonprofits

Hand-drawn video helps nonprofits explain complex programs in a way that’s easy to follow, sparking genuine interest and generating the kind of buzz that grows support.

What you get: A shareable video that makes your mission clear—and makes people want to learn more

Internal Communications

Rolling out a major initiative across departments, regions, or business units is hard when everyone’s starting from a different place. Hand-drawn video connects the dots—clarifying the “why” behind big changes and getting teams aligned around a shared understanding.

Videos: Frequently Asked Questions

How long does creating a video take?

A standard one to three-minute video takes anywhere from 5-8 weeks, depending on the script and visual style, as well as when your team is available to meet for feedback during the production process.

What do our videos cost?

We have a range of options to serve different budgets. Since there are so many factors that go into creating one of our videos, we like to discuss your vision over the phone before we create a custom quote for your video.

What are my responsibilities?

You’ll need a small team of no more than three people who are available to give feedback and final approval on production milestones. After you hand off your content or a rough script, our team can handle the entire production process, from script refinement to voice-over recording.
