We headed over to New York for the 2018 United Nations General Assembly, where we took live visual notes for the Secretary General’s meeting on sustainable development financing. Three, hour-long panels covered topics on women’s economic empowerment, private investment in sustainability, and how world leaders can come together to drive change. Some of the many speakers included Bill Gates, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, Chief Executive Officer of the World Bank Krisalina Georgieva, President of Rwanda Paul Kagame and President of Barbados Mia Amor Mottley.
